Are you successful on the outside—but privately exhausted, overwhelmed, or questioning how long you can maintain the pace?

I have spent my life observing a specific, painful paradox: the brightest people often struggle most to feel successful.

I have spent my life observing a specific, painful paradox: the brightest people often struggle most to feel successful.
Growing up, I watched my father—a man of extraordinary brilliance and kindness—struggle quietly with depression and anxiety. To the outside world, he seemed accomplished, yet he felt like a “spectacular underachiever” inside. That observation stayed with me into my professional life.
As a family law attorney for 20 years, I saw this pattern repeated: highly capable professionals
navigating burnout, isolation, and addiction, terrified that their struggles meant failure.
Today, I help high-achieving professionals realize that brilliance and struggle are not
opposites—they’re part of the same complex blend.

Individual Therapy
Individual therapy offers a supportive, one-on-one space to navigate anxiety, depression, burnout, stress, and the challenges that come with high-pressure careers and demanding lives. Together, we focus on understanding patterns, building resilience, and creating meaningful, lasting change. Our approach isn't about quick fixes—it's about developing sustainable tools and strategies that fit your life and support long-term well-being.
Couples Counseling
Couples counseling provides a safe and collaborative space to strengthen your relationship. Whether you're working through conflict, rebuilding trust, improving communication, or deepening emotional intimacy, we help partners develop the skills and understanding needed for lasting connection. Together, we'll build a stronger foundation for a healthier, more fulfilling relationship.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to identify "cognitive distortions" (like "all-or-nothing thinking" or "mind-reading") that ruin productivity as well as "neuroplastic rewiring" which seeks to actively rewrite automatic, stressful thoughts into objective, accurate and high-utility perspectives.
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy which is a goal-directed therapy approach that focuses on solutions rather than the problems that brought you to therapy. We will start with the assumption that you know what you need to change but have been unable to get in the zone. We will work on your strengths and focus and magnify the resources that you already have to make meaningful change.
I specialize in working with high-achieving professionals who, from the outside, seem to have it all together but are secretly grappling with burnout, isolation, and the weight of relentless stress. Having practiced family law for over 20 years, I intimately understand the unique pressures of demanding careers—the high stakes, the constant "on" mode, and the way self-care often falls to the bottom of the list until anxiety, depression and substance abuse can no longer be ignored. My ideal client is someone ready to apply the same dedication they give their career to their own well-being. In this space, you have permission the mask.
My approach is to provide a supportive and nonjudgmental environment to help you recognize and understand your triggers, habits, and negative thoughts that have led to your addiction. I will help you change patters of behavior that are related to your substance abuse and to develop positive behaviors that support develop0ment of insight and lead to permanent change in your behaviors. I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) , Motivational Interviewing (MI) , relapse prevention strategies, and mindfulness-based techniques to help clients build coping skills, strengthen motivation for change, manage triggers and cravings, and support long-term recovery. Treatment is tailored to each person's goals, whether they are seeking sobriety, harm reduction, or support navigating the impact of addiction on relationships, work, and overall well-being.
My approach is to provide a supportive and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment to help clients identify and understand maladaptive interpersonal patterns, communication deficits, emotional reactivity, and relational dynamics that contribute to distress within relationships. Treatment focuses on increasing insight, improving communication and conflict resolution skills, strengthening emotional regulation, and fostering healthier attachment and relationship functioning. Interventions are informed by evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and solution-focused approaches to address concerns such as chronic conflict, trust issues, boundary difficulties, intimacy concerns, life transitions, and relationship dissatisfaction. Treatment is individualized to the specific needs and goals of each client and to the couple as a whole. My approach is designed to promote improved relational functioning, emotional connection, and overall psychological well-being.
My approach is to provide a supportive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment where clients can develop insight into the cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and physiological patterns that contribute to stress and anxiety. A primary focus of treatment is increasing awareness of stress triggers, automatic thoughts, and maladaptive coping behaviors, as developing insight into these processes is essential for meaningful and sustained change. Treatment emphasizes strengthening emotional regulation, improving distress tolerance, and building adaptive coping strategies to reduce symptoms and improve overall functioning. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I utilize evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, diaphragmatic breathing, and guided meditation to support nervous system regulation, and increase present-moment awareness. Clients are also supported in identifying and modifying avoidance-based behaviors while reinforcing more effective responses to stressors. Treatment is individualized to each client’s needs and is designed to enhance insight, resilience, emotional well-being, and overall quality of life.
You will receive concrete assignments between sessions to test out new mental strategies discussed during session. We will also use validated testing metrics to gauge progress in improving the symptoms that brought you into therapy to begin with. It is particularly appropriate for busy professionals as the approach is highly efficient and typically achieves measurable symptom reduction in 8 to 16 weeks.
